PHOTOS of inspiration and Ideas Small Embroidery Scissors
I wanted to make something out of my embroidery scissors. The handles always looked like a heart to me and when they are opened they look like an "L" My signature, that I always used on my finished stitched projects, is an " L heart E " for Lisa Eddo. I was hoping to incorporate all of this into my assignment.
I wasn't thrilled with the closed scissor photo, but I liked the roundness of the finger hole on this particular pair of scissors.
So, I sketched first. Center top sketch is a stylized L and heart.
Simple shapes emerged, circles and triangles. A daisy even appeared out of 4 pairs of heart/scissors
