What do YOU mean to say when you say "Happy Holidays?"

The sketches that I added explain how I originally wanted this poster to be. Brown paper packages tied up with string would spell out every other letter in Happy Holidays and inside the packages would be a Holiday celebrated during this Holiday Season.. 

My skill set changed when I started to work with it and in my frustration found another image similar to our Color Image with Emotions and text.  

I think that this is a clearer message. 

The background says all the greetings that people say and many of the greetings are becoming "political incorrect" to say.. It is as if the message is that if I say Happy Holidays instead of, for example, Merry Christmas, I am not celebrating MY holiday.. 

My message says.. Say your Greeting AND/OR  Happy Holidays..  It is all the same.. 

Holidays are for every person, race, color, and creed.

Finally.. Text   My inspiration was the Color Study assignment. Working with Text was very exciting and inspiring.. once I figured out the TEXT tool!!
